A Pretty Server Motherboard

This was a nightmare project (not on the fault of the client btw. they just watched in horror :3). I'm starting to realize that my definition of a nightmare project should just mean "project with poor planning and 0 creative self constraint". never the less, zero regrets :3
Even though I took "attention to detail" far too literally in this project. I took some creative liberties and swapped the placement of some of the elements for the sake of the composition. I know. a shame I couldn't accurately model a server board one for one am i right? XD

Jokes aside. When it came to touching up the render in CSP, my method of execution was not the most efficient in the world. I insisted to myself on working with the reflections from the render and my workflow looked a little something like One layer + many selection layers forming stencils I can work with. and thinking back, id rather step on Lego then do an artwork using that workflow again. I'm better off just learning how Blender compositing works.

Anyway. if I end up 3d modeling a motherboard for my art the 3rd time I'm making it my signature thing and no one can stop me >:3
